Museum Wewangian
Indonesia’s first museum dedicated to the world of perfume — a journey through the history, science and artistry of scent.
THE MUSEUM

Where memory becomes scent

Museum Wewangian is the first museum in Indonesia devoted entirely to perfume and fragrance. Inside, an ever-growing collection of historical artefacts, rare bottles and archival stories traces the craft of scent — from the incense and aromatic oils of the Nusantara archipelago to the great perfume houses of France, Arabia and the wider world. More than a display, it is a living classroom: interactive exhibits explain how raw materials become fine fragrance, and why a single note can carry an entire memory.
